The article is devoted to the poster art of Georges de Fer - one of the most consistent symbolic artists of France at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Inspired in his early posters by the work of Jules Shere, later he began to embody the concept of the femme fatale, based on the collection of poems by Charles Baudelaire, "Flowers of Evil," reflecting the misogynistic environment of the era.
