The article elaborates esthetics and poetics of K. Leontyev, in particular the ways the priority of esthetics, new for the literature of 1860-70s, being implemented in his fiction. Leontyevs attitude is considered within the context of religious philosophy, according to F. Dostoevsky and P. Florenskys conception of the beauty.
