The article gives, from the point of view of the author, the definition of the concepts of investment, investment project. In addition, the stages of the investment project are analyzed. The relevance of the study is justified by the fact that investments (investments) are one of the most important factors in the development of the economy, which determine economic growth, the state of the economy, with the help of investment projects, the most important tasks are solved to clarify, justify the technical capabilities and economic necessity of creating objects of entrepreneurial activity.
