Stages of Verkhneudinsk urban policing (XVIII - early XX centuries)

The article highlights the main stages of formation and development of the city police force of Verkhneudinsk. Particular attention is paid to the appearance of the commandant of city management, which initially focused a police functions. The author identifies four stages of formation of the police in the city, thereby marking its special role in the corner of the control unit.
