Kumandin ethnic culture of Krasnogorsk district, Altai region: the modern realias

The paper observes some results of scientific research, which took place during 2014 in Krasnogorsky District of Altai Krai. The present-day hereditary ethnic culture of Kumandins of Krasnogorsky District is described. Certain attention is paid for decay of traditional conformation that provides intergenerational transition of Kumandin national culture. The primary subject of paper is the ongoing efforts for preservation of Kumandin culture heritage, which are made by culture resurgence activists, as well as Kumandin traditional national culture experimental center that have been created with the support of Altai Krai administration.
