Ethnic peculiarities of population of Russia and its influence on production process in regions

The mechanism of the ethnicity influence on labour motivations of population is analysed in the article. Ethnicity is treated as symbolically fixed in the ethnic culture complex of adaptations of the human being to the environment. Ethnic peculiarities of population in this case are the consequence of the human being centuries-long activities in the separate territory. Exactly these peculiarities can promote marginality of the ethnos as a social group as well as exclusion from global economic processes. Ethnos's assimilation and rejection of its own ethnicity becomes its adaptive response to this marginalisation challenge. Mechanisms of these processes by modern examples are treated in the article.
