The ethnic composition of political elites of multiethnic regions of Russia

The article considers the insufficiently studied issue concerning ethnicity of modern political elites of republics Buryatia, Sakha (Yakutia) and Tuva. Based on the analysis of biographical documents and research materials, the ethnic composition of various elite groups in these regions has been identified. Besides, the article contains the urgent information on the degree of knowledge of native tongue by representatives of political elites.
