The aim of the article is to examine the ethnic structure of Siberian service class people, who played the leading role in the processes of Russian annexation of Siberia. The research is focused on the three non-Russian sources of recruitment for this group. They are expatriate Europeans, representatives of coast-dweller and Ural peoples and Siberian indigenous peoples.
