Ethnic and cultural specific features of semantics of the concept as a global unit of national cognitive consciousness

The key cultural concept is investigated as a macro-cognitive unit, which belongs to national consciousness in English and Russian language picture of world. The concept reflects and at the same time is the condition of the world-outlook of people in whose culture it exists and which it represents.
