Ethno-cultural aspects of study Kyrgyz national construction

The article explores the ethnocultural aspects of nation-building among the Kyrgyz people. The stages of the nation-building process are considered from the time the Kyrgyz people joined the Russian Empire until they gained state independence as a result of the collapse of the USSR. The main content of each stage is identified and analyzed, the ethnocultural aspects of nation-building among the Kyrgyz people are revealed. In the course of the study, the following results were obtained: the stages of the Kyrgyz nation-building were established, the tasks and results of the nation-building at each stage were determined. It is concluded that the Soviet stage of nation-building was systemic and comprehensive, which led to the formation of a Kyrgyz nation of European type. It was also concluded that the post-Soviet stage of the Kyrgyz nation-building has features that proceeds in the context of the formation of a common political identity.
