Range of ethnic national problems in the program documents and activities of the non-parliamentary left-wing movements in Russia

The article is concerned with the non-parliamentary left-wing parties and movements in the context of their attitude to the ethnic national problems of the modern Russia. The author proposes a classification of two major trends in the contemporary left-wing movement, and describes their conceptions. The paper disputes a popular thesis of 1990-s, that the left political spectrum is closely related to the Russian nationalism.
