Ethnotourism and its role in the development of the tourism industry of the Murmansk region

This article analyzes the role of ethnotourism in the context of the development of the tourism industry in the Murmansk region. The region is characterized by unique natural and climatic features, which makes it attractive to tourists from both Russian and foreign regions. The purpose of the study is to assess the potential for the development of ethnotourism in the Murmansk region. To achieve this goal, an analysis of transport flows, main places of collective accommodation, as well as tourist destinations and services was conducted. The results of the study allow us to draw a conclusion about the prospects for the development of ethnotourism in the region and offer specific recommendations for its stimulation and development. The authors of the article believe that the development of ethnotourism contributes not only to an increase in the tourist flow in the region, but also to the preservation of the cultural heritage and diversity of ethnic groups in the Murmansk region.
