The article examines the relationship between the evolution of financial markets and the transformation of financial strategies of organizations. A historical analysis of the key stages in the development of financial markets has been conducted, with an emphasis on their impact on corporate financial strategies. Special attention is paid to modern challenges, including digitalization, globalization and increased market volatility, as well as their impact on approaches to strategic financial management. Based on the conducted research, an adaptive model of an organization's financial strategy in a modern market environment is proposed.
