The evolution of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the field of aircraft engineering

The article touches upon a problem of aircraft engineering development in the post-Soviet period of the Russian history, exemplifying to the full extent the processes of de-industrialization and de-modernization of the country. The authors come to the conclusion that the following measures are required: public investments, constructive dialogue with the scientific community, involvement of the society in the processes of modernization, adoption of positive domestic and international experience to overcome the crisis prevailing in the domestic aviation industry.
