Evolution of tools and mechanisms to support Russian business in Italy in the XXI century

The article examines the evolution and transformation of Russian business abroad since 2000 on the example of Italy. The choice of the country is explained not only by the crisis period for Russian-European relations, but also by the close trade and economic ties between Russia and Italy, in particular, which caused Italy's accession to the EU sanctions pressure on Russia relatively later (from 2022, and not from 2014). The authors come to the conclusion about the special role of state practices in stimulating business relations between the two countries, in particular, manifested in the high status of fairs and exhibitions to attract investment in the private sector of the Russian Federation abroad.
