The article presents an analysis of the process of formation and change of knowledge production models and the types of innovation cycle corresponding to them. The aim of the study is to identify the subject composition and the nature of the interrelationships of the participants in innovative relations, corresponding to the one-link, two-link, triple, four-link and five-link models of innovation. Particular attention is paid to the study of the influence of the knowledge production model on the transformation of the type of innovation cycle. The influence of informatization and digitalization processes on the formation of network formations and the formation of entrepreneurship ecosystems as a modern form of integration of economic agents is revealed.
