Evolution of the regulatory framework of the digital yuan as a factor of strengthening its international influence

In the conditions of global turbulence, sanctions pressure and growing tendency to dedollarization of world settlements, the role of the yuan in the international financial system acquires a new meaning. China not only consistently strengthens the position of the national currency but also uses digitalization as a strategic tool to increase its own economic and technological independence. The article discusses how China's regulatory reforms and digitalization are turning the yuan into a key instrument in the formation of a new multipolar financial system and contributing to the strengthening of China's geopolitical influence. Special attention is paid not only to the technological aspects of e-CNY implementation, but also to the institutional changes that have ensured flexibility, transparency and a high level of control over financial flows.
