Evolution of life insurance in Russian Federation serving for a device of social risks management

The paper considered evolution of life insurance in Russia from the XIX century to the present day. The study specified the basic stages of evolution of life insurance demonstrating them in comparison to the world tendencies in the sector. Problems life insurance face have been mentioned, as well as prospects of life insurance advancement with regard to the nowadays market of insurance; the survey suggested measures to improve the public insurance strategy.
