Evolution of armored fighting vehicles used in regional conflicts in 1950-1990's

The article reviews the evolution of armored fighting vehicles during 1950-1990-s, the period, which is considered to be the Second Cold War. Regional conflicts of this time performed the functions of the previous years' war campaigns, and were the testing areas for developing sophisticated armory in the conditions oriented on the real straight war collision between the USSR and the USA.
