The article describes the main trends of the revolutionary and state commemorations in the 1930s in Kuban. Referencing to the regional materials is determined by the fact that the festive culture of the Soviet period was formed with not only centralized, but also local celebrations. The author considers specifics of the celebration orchestration, in particular, the atmosphere in the society that prevailed during the researched period.
