The article analyzes legal topics of social and political editions by the example of «Russkiy vestnik» magazine of the liberal period. A short review of this problem research is provided, methodological basis for its research is characterized. Specific conclusions are made which prove the connection of legal idealism of young lawyers and special features of journalist activity.
