The history of the use of the tower, starting in 1841, when the Mint archive was located in it, is also examined. Documents on the reconstruction of the tower, created in the middle of the 19th century, are analyzed. The article provides quotes from reports and certificates reflecting the process of work on architectural changes in the south tower of the Mint.
