To the characteristic of the present stage of agro-industrial complex development in the Omsk region

For determination of effective measures and perspective directions of regional policy for support of agro-industrial production in the Omsk region it is necessary to have an idea of the strong (competitive) parties of agroindustrial complex, its line items in Siberian federal District and Russia in general. On the basis of studying strong, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in development of the region it is established that the Omsk regionis the hitech agroindustrial region and one of the largest in the east of the country; it is in the ten-top in the Russian Federation and takes the second position in Siberian Federal District among the leading agrarian regions. As a research task authors determined attempt to estimate the rating of the region in the Siberian Federal District and the Russian Federation on production volumes, acreage and productivity of crops. Level of self-sufficiency of the region in 2015 is 169.5% (grain), 120.3% (potatoes), 112.8% (meat and meat products), 101.6% (milk), 121.5% (egg), 82.2% (vegetables). The article sums up some results of studying of the main indicators characterizing the labor capacity of branch. The thought that the region is effective for implementation of investment projects is proved. In 2016 in the territory of the Omsk region more than 30 investment projects are implemented, the amount of investment investments in development of livestock production, crop production and conversion of agricultural products will make more than 5 billion rubles. In the article basic reasons of stability of line items of agricultural industry in the region reveal, strengthenings of the Omsk region role in increase of production capacity of Siberian Federal District and ensuring food security of the region and Russia describe.
