I. Abramov on library education of specialists in working with children and youth

The article discusses the views of the outstanding librarian Konstantin Abramov in the field of professional education of library specialists. Its influence on solving urgent problems of improving personnel training for a system of libraries working with the younger generation is shown. The modern directions of the activities of the universities of culture in the field of the organization of the training of library specialists at the undergraduate and graduate levels are indicated their demand in libraries.
