The results of theriofauna studies in arctic and southern tundra of Yamal peninsula are presented. According to these studies local theriofauna “Sabetta” (estuary of Sabetta river, studies of 2011, 2013, 2014) is represented by 7 species, while local theriofauna "Yara-Yakha" (estuary of Yara-Yakha river, studies 2008-2011) - by 17 species.
