To the Creation History of Seed-Production Base of Coniferous Species in Tatarstan Republic

The article presents the review of the main works of Meritorious forester of the Russian Federation and Tatarstan Republic K.V. Krasvobaeva from 1976 till 2005 devoted to the creation of the constant seed-production base of pine, spruce and fir in Tatar Republic. The first stage of work was in generally accomplished to 1990. Plus trees and stands have been selected, and genetic refuges, clone archives, forest trials, constant seed-production sites were created. The recommendations have been worked out, most of them were practically realized. This work was marked with the Silver medal of the USSR Exhibition of the National Economy Achievements in 1989. The investigation of the created experimental sites that have been preserved up to 2005 has shown that these objects as well as the author,s effective and genetically valuable methods and technologies in selection and seed production can be used at the modern stage works in forest selection.
