The article studies the initial stage of the Cultural Revolution (1966-1969) in Inner Mongolia, when a special policy was pursued in relation to the national minorities of the workstation. This particular political course was aimed at combating the People's Revolutionary Party of Inner Mongolia, which the top leadership of China, primarily Kang Sheng and Jian Jin, considered as a criminal party, acting against the interests of the CCP. The Chinese government's harsh policies led to the genocide of many people of the region's ethnic minorities.
