The article considers the specificity of the interaction of Outlook of the Sakha people and images characteristic of the Yakut myths and legends, reflected in the Yakut heroic epos (on the example of Olonkho «Nyurgun Bootur the Rapid»), which has a number of similarities with the Scandinavian epos.
