On the methods of elaborating fundamentals of environmental quality monitoring based on the assessment of development stability in small mammals

The initial results obtained in comparison of natural and anthropogenic genetic identified animal samples by the fluctuating asymmetry index using the methods of Zakharov V.M. and Vasil’ev A.G., differ substantially. The calculation method of individual and group variances of general asymmetry and its components introduced by Vasil’ev A.G., is the most responsive, this allowing to get objective estimations. The possibility to use sex dimorphism variation for the assessment of the stress level in the populations of small mammals, is proved.
