The article presents a method for determining the adhesive strength of thermal protective coatings on the surfaces of gas-dynamic impulse devices (GID) parts operating under high temperature and force influences. The method is based on experimental tests of full-scale samples and reproduction of experimental conditions in a numerical experiment based on CAD/CAE software products, which makes it possible to determine the critical adhesion conditions and apply them to the real operating conditions of the GID
