Estimate efficiency of devices for birds protection on the electric main 6-10 kV in Zavolzh'ye of Samara region

Data about cases of birds deaths from electrocution on electric mains 6-10 kV, that have not devices for birds protection and have their, from Samara region (Borskii, Pestavskii districts) are present. In each of this districts birds deaths on the electric mains with devices for birds protection by company «AVIS» and «ECO-NIOCR» occurring at least twice less than on the lines that are not equipped devices for birds protection. On some electric mains with devices for birds protection by company «AVIS» we did not find the death birds. Most of the birds, that dying on electric mains with devices for birds protection and without it, behave to the family of Corvidae. Birds of prey, that was killed by electrocution on investigate equipment electric mains, are not detected. The main reasons that leading to death of birds on equipment electric mains - the errors of their installing and lack of models of devices to protect the entire spectrum lines.
