On parameters of the public apology description

The article analyzes discourse parameters of an official post-factum apology. The participants’ roles and non-participants’ probable reactions are discussed. Reframing as the apologizer’s manipulative technique is characterized. The use of apology tactics is explained though the mechanism of association/dissociation.
