The problem of such a choice in the paradigm of behavioral economics is a research interest. The purpose of the study is to challenge the problem of economic decision-making by students in the context of cognitive bias. The research materials are scientific papers on behavioral economics and the educational process organization, as well as survey data obtained by the author. The research is based on the methods of system analysis, comparison, and other general scientific methods. The effects of hyperbolic discounting, framing, anchoring, loss aversion, overconfidence, and control illusion are considered. It is determined that for increasing the level of economic efficiency of the learning process, it is important to consider and eliminate the negative psychological effects of students’ action choice.
