Concerning intercultural communication

The article analyzes an intercultural communication concept, introduces a subject and object of the research, and its main approaches. The author reviews cultural phenomena and their national content-addressable background in the context of the current theory of “test case", the test cases of the Russian culture, and nonverbal means of the intercultural communication. The article describes stereotypes and archetypes of thinking and behaviour regarding linguistic units, speech, text, including the mythological one. The author also considers cognitive aspects of the linguistic consciousness, mentality, worldviews, concept and sphere of concepts with fundamental cultural constants, reflecting mental nature of the nations.
