To the problem of determining the value of information generated in the course of innovation project implementation

The relationship between the value (utility) of information and its cost is analyzed. In order to develop the semantics of the Harkiewicz criterion, a five-level linguistic ranking scale for measuring the value of information is proposed. It is shown that the increase in the accuracy of the model of the decisionmaking situation, on the basis of which a managerial decision is made, is conditioned by the procedure of measuring quantitative data, and the achievement of the completeness of the synthesized information product is associated with the expansion of its application due to the structurization of metadata. The semantics of the group of criteria for assessing the quality of management decisions and the effectiveness of the project management process is substantiated.
