Concerning sociocultural shift in transforming Russia: comparison of values of Russians and Europeans according to the European social survey

The article is devoted to the influence of culture and values shared by members of the society on the modernization processes in Russia. The research conducted a secondary analysis of the international studies' data in order to compare values of Russians and people living in countries leading in modernization. The result showed the impact of the national culture on the socioeconomic development of the Russian society.
