Application of virtual displacement principles in combination with finite elements method for stress-strained analysis of transit trass segments

An approach to analysis of hinged-rod systems with rigit members is proposed. Different stages of analyzing the constructions (from the formulation a boundary problem and computer generated simulation to a stress-strained analysis) are considered. The issues of accuracy and reliability of the analysis are focused on.
