On the calculation of the grain unloading from the grain column

Constructive and theoretical analyses of unloading units with an oscillating carriage and a movable slatted device made it possible to draw up their design diagrams and obtain empirical dependences of the flow characteristics depending on the kinematic and design parameters. It is revealed that in unloading units with an oscillating carriage the change in productivity due to the variation of the distance between the unloading hole and the oscillating shelf of the unloading carriage is ineffective. The control of the flow characteristic by kinematic parameters, namely the amplitude and frequency of oscillation, is most preferable, in view of the design features of the slatted discharge devices and the use of drives with a wide range of adjustable kinematic parameter.
