On rare and endangered birds of Orenburg Priuralie

The report provides the latest information on birds included in the federal and regional Red Data Books, and simply rare for the Orenburg region. It specifies their occurrence location and abundance. The information on findings of rare birds is valuable in terms of the need to systematically maintain the regional Red Data Book and update the status of rare species. Due to the lack of regular, purposeful monitoring of the Red Data Book avifauna, only fragmentary information remains on many birds. The presented data supplement the picture of the distribution of rare birds in Orenburg region and can be used in the next edition of the regional Red Data Book.
