About semantics and etymology of Russ. mymra

The article presents a variety of meanings of the Russian word мымра used in Russian folk dialects. The author makes a survey of different interpretations of the word in question and suggests new understanding of the etymological versions. This research presents relations between the words with expressive basis *mymr-, *mumr-. The article gives interpretation of the words that have neither semantic nor etymological interpretation.
