The authors consider psychological training of law enforcement officers to be the most important discipline involved in the professional and educational process, both in general and in terms of optimizing the adaptation of personnel to activities in difficult conditions. The most important tasks of psychological training in its close interaction with tactical and special training (TSP), in relation to actions in a difficult operational situation (extreme situations), are: 1) formation of personnel's readiness to overcome the dangers of the office environment and 2) development of the ability to withstand high neuropsychological stress in extreme situations.
