On the question of diversification of farming of small forms of agrobusiness on the basis of further development of livestock

The article touches upon the stages of the formation of peasant farms in the post-perestroika period in the country as a whole and in the Altai Territory in particular. Indicates both the quantitative dynamics of farms of small forms of agribusiness, and their areas, indicates the structural shifts of farms of this group, aimed at increasing the economic efficiency of production. The significant contribution of peasant farms to the general structure of agricultural production is noted. The dynamics of the livestock of farm animals in these enterprises and the volume of their products have been tracked. An opinion was expressed about the need to diversify the production of farms of small forms of ownership through the development of the livestock industry. Positive examples of work already carried out in this direction are given and the role of state support in the implementation of this direction of economic activity is indicated.
