On the issue of integration of modern and historical architecture in the process of urban space development

The research topic includes an analysis of the degree and content of the study of the problem of interaction between objects of new architecture and previous eras. Special attention is paid to various aspects of the interaction of the "old" and "new" in the architecture of a modern city, studied by both domestic and foreign researchers. After analyzing publications in this field, the authors found that many researchers tend to focus on individual buildings and neighborhoods, paying insufficient attention to the broad context and methods of solving this problem. However, acute and unexplored aspects have been identified, such as the integration of modern residential development in a historical environment and urban reconstruction. These research results contribute to the scientific actualization of the problem of integration of modern and historical architecture and provide new approaches to the study of this topic.
