Concerning the codification of the rules regulating the special order of criminal proceedings

The author draws attention to the fact that in criminal proceedings a number of norms of the criminal procedural law suppose departure from the general rules and stipulate some specifics of criminal proceeding for cases of certain categories. Based on the study and analysis of the legislation and legal literature, the author makes up the structure of the criminal procedural law institution stipulating a special order of criminal proceedings. Also, the article considers the issue of determining of the place of “special procedures" in the system of criminal procedure law.
