On the Issue About Criticizing of the Approach to the Duty to Exercise Decisions of Bar Self-Governing Bodies as Professional Duties of Lawyers

During analysis of Russian advocate’s duties determined by the Federal Law «On the Advocacy and the Bar in Russian Federation» and the Code of professional ethics of the advocate through comparing their norms between themselves, with UN Basic principles on the role of lawyers, the author could conclude that exercising decisions of bar self-governing bodies is not related to professional duties of advocates and not according to the UN Basic principles on the role of lawyers.
