On the issue of the theological meaning of the works of the priest Pavel Florensky

The article draws attention to a very important feature of the religious and philosoph-ical heritage of the papa Pavel Florensky - its desire to adopt and maintain in philos-ophy and theology the Christian truth of deification as the real, ontological transfor-mation of a man. An example of participation of Florensky controversy of imiaslavie(praising the name), his criticism of the teachings of A. S. Khomyakov and prepa-ration of lectures in the period of 1917-1922 it is shown that the scientist linked thedefense of this truth to counteract of the attempts to make absolute of the value of hu-man creativity in the church and personal spiritual life.
