The paper raises the history problem of the White movement Bonapartism policy during the Civil war in Eastern Russia. The study aims at capturing the essence of the Bonapartism phenomenon of Admiral Kolchak's military dictatorship in Siberia, determining the phenomenon social context, and finding out reasons for the inefficiency of the White movement Bonapartism policy in Eastern Russia. It is found that the Civil war in Russia led to the dictatorship in the opposing forces. In the Eastern part of the country the White movement dictatorship was originally military in character due to the narrowness and instability of the support base. This factor forced Admiral Kolchak to maneuver, using Bonapartism methods, between various anti-Soviet political forces and social groups of Siberia, in order to retain power and win the war. The system of “White Bonapartism” had fundamental differences from the P.A. Stolypin model. Historical and social conditions of Siberia caused general inefficiency of the Bonapartism policy, crisis of the White statehood and defeat of the White movement. The results of the study can be used when lecturing on the history of Russia, writing generalized works on history of Siberia, teaching special courses on the history of the Russian revolution and the Civil war. It must be admitted that national crises, revolution and civil war cataclysms lead to the Bonapartism policy phenomenon, intended to ensure the political system stability under the narrow support base environment.
