The article deals with the issues of digitalization of the economy in the conditions of withdrawal of foreign vendors from the software market. A study of the current situation and trends in the development of the IT industry as the most important branch of the Russian economy has been conducted. Trends in the development of IT technologies within the framework of digital transformation of enterprises are outlined. The necessity and directions of development of domestic vendors are substantiated.
