Foundations for social politics in the Republic of Tatarstan

Introduction: the article is devoted to features of the historical epoch of Foundations for Bases of Social Politics of the Republic of Tatarstan, a constituent part of the Russian Federation. Materials and Methods: the official documentation, the Central State Archive of history and political documents of the Republic of Tatarstan, published documentation of USSR governing bodies, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan (laws, decrees, enactments, programmes etc.); statistics on agricultural and social development of the Republic of Tatarstan (collected volumes and Federal Public Statistics Service periodicals and other services of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan; issues of republican and federal printed mass-media: Tatarstan newspapers "Pravda"("The Truth"), "Izvestia" ("News"), "Sovetskaya Tatariya", or "The Republic of Tatarstan" ("Soviet Tatarstan") (1989-1996) were taken as the basis.
