On the issue of geopolitical aspects of global transformation challenges

The geopolitical aspects of global transformation challenges are highlighted. The author focuses on social, economic and political costs of globalization and offers the idea that the theory of globalization has substituted a modernization one since the end of XX cen. Accordingly, it is stated that globalization affronts the transformed social institutes and the role of a reintegration factor comes to the fore.
